Part 3 of 3:
Interview with Noomi Rapace. She plays the starring character Lisbeth Salander and is the heroine of Steig Larsson's award-winning Millennium Trilogy, Swedish Films.
One of the most talented actresses of the past decade, Noomi Rapace plays the heroic, strong, androgynous character of Lisbeth Salander. Lisbeth is defined by her own rules, portraying an incredibly genuine, believable, anti social yet very likable character. The three movies certainly provide their share of violence, however not gratuitous as the violent scenes are instrumental in the understanding of the Lisbeth Salander character storyline. Lisbeth refuses to become a victim despite the despicable acts done against her, and she determines her own future again playing by her own set of rules. Noomi Rapace captures this character so completely and delivers an astounding performance in all three of the of movies.
The Millennium Trilogy:
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
The Girl Who Played With Fire
The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest
